Competency
The PSS Cyber Security Management system is integrated into our Quality and Functional Safety Management Systems and is maintained by the company Cyber Security Manager. The system has been developed in line with the requirements of IEC62443 by a certified TÜV Rheinland Cyber Security Specialist.
All PSS engineering staff undertake cyber security training through the Open University which provides essential cyber security knowledge and skills, learning how to better protect their digital life, in house IT systems and client critical infrastructure.
The course is accredited by APMG, the Chartered Institute of Information Security and the National Cyber Security Centre.
Certification
PSS engineering and in house IT cyber security practices have been externally audited by a number of 3rd parties, with the system being certified as developed with a low cyber risk factor.
PSS systems are also certified by the Cyber Essentials scheme. Cyber Essentials represents the UK Government’s minimum baseline standard for cyber security for organisations of all sizes in the UK.
Cyber Essentials certification demonstrates that an organisation is protecting itself by implementing the most important cyber security controls. A team of experts review the scheme at regular intervals to ensure it stays effective in the ever-evolving threat landscape.
