Last year PSS Lead Engineer Euan Petrie attended two TÜV Rheinland Cyber Security Training courses related to industrial automation and control systems. The courses covered;
- Fundamentals
- Introduction to IACS Security and relevant standards/regulations
- Approach to ensuring Cyber Security
- Asset Inventory
- Introduction to Security Risk Assessment (SRA)
- High-Level SRA
- Allocation of IACS to Zones and Conduits
- Detailed-Level SRA
- Determining the Level of Security Risk and the Security Level
- Risk Management
- Monitoring and Review
Passing the exams has qualified Euan as a Cyber Security Specialist for IACS, joining a handful of people globaly who have successfully gained the title of CySec Specialist.
With his new knowledge, Euan has taken on the responsibility within Process Safety Solutions as Cyber Security Manager and is in charge of the development, maintenance and implementation of both our internal Cyber Security Management System as well as all cyber security related project activities.
